Dr. Peter Bodunrin
Originally from Milton, Georgia, Dr. Peter Bodunrin pursued his undergraduate studies in Biology and Public Health at the University of Georgia. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Athens, where he was honored with induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of his compassionate patient care.

Dr. Bodunrin completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Ophthalmology at Emory University, where he received advanced training in the management of complex cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal diseases. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive ophthalmic care with a focus on clinical excellence and patient-centered service.

Dr. Bodunrin and his wife, Leah—whom he met during their time at UGA—recently welcomed their son in February 2025. They are thrilled to return to Athens and are committed to serving the community that has long held a special place in their hearts.
