About Athens Eye Doctors & Surgeons

With offices across Northeast Georgia, our partners have over 70 years of experience providing treatment for a broad range of conditions affecting the eye and its surrounding structures. Our mission is to provide compassionate, patient-centered medical and surgical care that improves our patients' vision and quality of life, using the newest technological advances in ophthalmology. Whether it's a new-technology lens implant placed in our own ambulatory surgery center or the newest treatment for wet age-related macular degeneration, we can provide all of your eye healthcare needs.

Athens Eye Doctors & Surgeons provides medical and surgical eye care to patients across Northeast Georgia. Our main office and surgery center are at 105 Trinity Place in Athens, and we see patients in six more communities: Elberton, Toccoa, Lavonia, Winder, Commerce, and Greensboro.

Academic expertise without the drive to Atlanta

Some of our physicians also serve as Clinical Assistant Professors at the MCG/UGA Medical Partnership campus and in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia. That teaching connection keeps our practice close to current training and research, a few minutes from home.
