George Baker Hubbard, III

Dr. Hubbard is a retinal specialist who sees patients in Athens on a part time basis. He is an associate professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Hubbard is chief of Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Emory Eye Center and is a former president of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology. He completed medical school at Vanderbilt University and did an Ophthalmology residency at Emory University. Upon completion of his Ophthalmology residency, he attended a two year fellowship at Barnes Retina Institute in St. Louis. He has published extensively on clinical retina, and holds several active research grants.
